The Town of Boston Ethics Committee was formed in 2011 and is

charged with rendering advisory opinions to officers and employees of the

Town at their request or the request of Town residents.

The Ethics Board makes recommendations with respect to amending the

codes of ethics upon request of the Town Board.  The Board of Ethics

receives complaints alleging violations of ethics regulations,

investigates these complaints, and conducts investigations as to

whether violations of ethics standards have occurred.
