ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

   There are five regular members and two alternate members, who step in to meet the quorum in the        abscence of a regular member.  All members are allowed to question the applicant, however only the regular members vote on the motion to grant or deny the variance request.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the first Thursday of the month, on an "as needed" schedule.

The start time is at 7:00 p.m. with subsequent Public Hearings, if any, scheduled at 20 minute intervals, start times are announced by published Public Hearing notices in each of the two local papers (The Hamburg Sun and The Springville Journal).

The meetings are held in the courtroom, located on the main level of the Boston Town Hall.

In addition to the applicant's presence, adjoining property owners are notified and are advised that they are welcome to speak "for or against said application"
